In November 1985, East Coast Engineering

(Grimsby) Ltd was formed, operating from

small premises in Birchin way Grimsby.

The aim was not to accumulate vast profits,

or to become a giant conglomerate, It was

simply to do what we were good at -

Machining, welding, gear cutting- and to do

it better than anyone else.

Today

East Coast Engineers is a thriving company,

providing a broad range of high quality

services to an extensive list of important

clients. Although we are regarded by

our customers, and our friends in the

industry (some would call them

‘Competitors’), as a progressive company,

we still maintain a strong family-based

tradition of caring and integrity.

We are general engineers,

supplying machined parts and custom

fabrications in a wide range of materials such

as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, sheet

steel, all types of plastic, ceramics, Ferodo

materials and rubber.

In fact, our business has been built largely by

doing things that our customers were not

sure could be done. In addition to machining,

we have extensive gear cutting, welding and

fabrication facilities and also can supply

profile cutting. We have developed a healthy

reputation for solving problems in the repair

of component parts supplied by customers.
